Welcome to the Lang Lang Boatshed Association inc. |
|

The Lang Lang Foreshore Reserve is situated on Western Port
Bay, overlooking the northern tip of French Island. It’s
the perfect place to catch a sunset, fish for bass trout, or
feel the wind howl in from Bass Strait.
The reserve is home to 33 of the nearly-1900 boatsheds and bathing
boxes dotted around Port Phillip and Western Port Bays. The
Lang Lang boatsheds, built by locals in the 1920s, are
a direct link to the area’s colorful past. The reserve
is also home to a number of caravans, and is open to campers
and travellers ‘just passing through’.
The Lang Lang Boatshed Association was formed in early 2005.
Members are united in their goal to preserve and enhance the
historical, cultural and natural environment of the Lang Lang
foreshore reserve. |
